92-94/100 Jeff Leve, The Wine Cellar Insider "With good richness in color, you find chocolate, black cherry, mint leaf, crushed rock and flowers in the nose. Earthy, soft, lush and polished, there is a nice finesse along with fruit and freshness in the finish. The wine is made from a blend of 70% Merlot and 30% Cabernet Franc. Harvesting took place October 6-October 9. Drink from 2024-2039."

92-94/100 Vinous "The 2021 Poesia is a blend of all the parcels this year because the quality was so uniform, harvested over three days, October 7–9. It has a touch more fruit concentration than the Barde-Haut, featuring dark berries, crushed stone and a touch of melted tar. The palate is medium-bodied with crunchy black fruit, a slightly granular texture, gentle grip and hints of brown spices and white pepper toward the finish. Give this Poesia three to four years in bottle."
