92/100 Markus del Monego, Master of Wine "Intense purple colour with violet hue and black core. Very dense yet lightly closed nose, opens up slowly. Restrained fruit and elegant spiciness. On the palate densely woven with firm yet powerful tannins, hints of minerality, liquorice in the finish and subtle toasting. Very good length."

It has ripe, classic Graves aromatics of darker currants and black cherries as well as leafy herbs, gravelly earth, and tobacco. This medium-bodied, round, supple, elegant wine shows the fresher style of the vintage and should drink nicely right out of the gate."

The medium-bodied palate delivers graphite-infused black fruit, moderate weight, fine salinity and insistent grip and mineralité on the finish. Classic Pessac."
