Pudsigt nok har Nenin siden 1997 tilhørt familien Delon – fra St-Juliens berømte “super second”, Léoville Las Cases!  Med prima beliggenhed i hjertet af Pomerol, nær selveste Château Le Pin, ser familien Delon verdensklassen være inden for rækkevidde.

Straks efter overtagelsen starter den gennemgribende omstrukturering fra mark til kælder, der særligt siden 2014 har ført Nenin helt op i Pomerols og Frankrigs elite. Senest understreget med en placering på James Sucklings TOP 100 Wines of France 2021.

91-92/100 Vert de Vin "The nose is aromatic, finely powerful and offers a fine concentration. It reveals notes of redcurrant jam, cassis and fine notes of ripe wild strawberry combined with hints of chocolate, grilled oak, subtle hints of spices as well as a discreet hint of white pepper and cumin. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a fine acid frame, a fine minerality, a nice straightness / tension, a nice freshness as well as a nice, elegant and silky matter. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of juicy / fleshy blackberry, crushed redcurrant and cassis associated with touches of blackberry, wood as well as fine hints of wild strawberry and a subtle hint of caramelized oak on the finish. Tannins are well-built. Good length."
