Den ultimative ”secret value” fra ikoniske Château Pavie…

Gerard Perse fra Château Pavie er også manden bag kanonlækre Clos Lunelles – den formentlig største rødvin af alle, og det formentlig bedste køb, fra Saint-Émilions nabodistrikt Castillon-Côtes de Bordeaux.

Clos Lunelles blev født tilbage i 2001, hvor familien Perse forelskede sig i 8,5 perfekt beliggende hektar på kalkstensplateauet Saint-Colombe i Castillon.

Nu – godt 20 år efter - leverer Clos Lunelles 2020 et historisk højdepunkt af højrebredsvalue. Vi taler altså ratings på et plan, hvor mangen Grand Cru Classé må kyle håndklædet i ringen.

Meget sigende for kvaliteten og ambitionsniveauet kalder Gerard Perse lillebroderen/andenvinen til Clos Lunelles for ”Esprit de Pavie” (!)

80% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Franc og 10% Cabernet Sauvignon leverer en vidunderlig opulent frugtrigdom og smagsdybde, der toppes med 18-24 måneders kældermodning på 225 liters barriquefade, heraf 50 % helt nye.
