Château Mazeyres i Pomerol er siden 1992 fremstillet af ønologen Alain Moueix, der er 4. generation af den legendariske familie bag Pétrus. Alain, der ligeledes er ansvarlig for Fonroque Grand Cru Classé i Saint-Émilion, har gennem årene forbedret frugtkvaliteten med biodynamisk certificering, mens han i kælderen har indført en række spændende nytiltag. Således modner Pomeol-vinen nu på en for Bordeaux unik blanding af 30% nye barriquefade, 30% store foudres, 20% amforaer og 20% moderne betonæg. Resultatet og ratings taler for sig selv... et must-try for alle fans af stor Pomerol.

This free-spirited and approachable expression is not common in Pomerol. I eagerly anticipate its even more outstanding performance after bottling.”
