Savner du et, øhm, "fif" til en fremragende andenvin? I topåret 2020 præsterer Lagrange 3. Cru Classé et brag af en Les Fiefs de Lagrange… Førsteklasses value-for-money fra absolutte topterroirs i Saint-Julien.

Med sine 118 hektar er Château Lagrange det klart største slot i prestige-kommunen St-Julien. I dag er 3. Cru Classé-slottet anerkendt som et af de bedste i St-Julien, men der har været store bump på vejen. I 1950’erne udryddede en brand store dele af vinmarkerne og indtil at den japanske Suntory-gruppe købte slottet i 1983, var det mest af alt et historisk sted i forfald.

Enorme pengesummer og winemaker ekspertise fra selveste Michel Delon (fra 2. Cru Classé Léoville-Las Cases) har de seneste årtier bragt slottet tilbage på rette hylde med fremragende vine og topratings i bunkevis.
