Årgang 2020 udråbes sågar til at være den bedste nogensinde fra Château La Gurgue.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 14px;">Claire er en særdeles berømt figur i Bordeaux og hører til blandt de bedste winemakere i regionen. Allerede som 25-årig overtog hun ledelsen af Château Ferrière (3. Cru Classé Margaux) og Haut Bages Liberal (5. Cru Classé Pauillac), hvor hun fik smag for vinmagerkunsten. Vinene fra Château La Gurgue fremstilles faktisk i kælderen hos Château Ferrières.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 14px;">Claires mor havde stået for genrejsningen af Château La Gurgue, der i 1993 overdragede roret til Claire. Siden da er det er det kun gået fremad og Claire har blandt andet kastet sine kræfter ind i at få gjort vindyrkningen 100 % biodynamisk med minimal svovlning, platning af træer i marken og anvendelse af naturgær. Hendes store anstrengelser indbragte hende en plads i ”Le Figaros” Top 50 over Frankrigs bedste vinmagere i 2022.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 14px;">Claire råder over 10 hektar vinmarker i hjertet af Margaux og mere end halvdelen af La Gurgue’s marker grænser op til selveste Chateau Margaux 1.
