Familien Estager, der har drevet La Cabanne i nu mere end 70 år, vil ikke være med i Pomerols opskruede prisræs. Og tak for det!</p> <p>Det her er nemlig forrygende silkeblød og vidunderligt skovbundsduftende terroirvin fra 10 prima beliggende hektar i hjertet af Pomerol. There's a lovely fine grain, both powerful and delicate, giving it an airy character. The palate is fruity with minerality and a slight creaminess that adds roundness and a certain indulgence. This is a wine of lightness and control, with tension, precision, beautiful energy, and discreetly dense tannins.
