<p>Château L’Enclos har hjemme i den vestlige del af Pomerol, hvor chateauets 9 hektar vinmarker er gunstigt beliggende tæt på eksklusive slotte som Clinet og Trotanoy. Pomerol-slottet blev opført i 1898 af familien Larroucaud, der forblev ejere i mere end et århundrede.</p>
<p>Kvaliteten er for alvor løftet op i verdensklasse efter 2006, hvor ejerne af Fonplégade Saint-Émilion Grand Cru Classé, amerikanske Stephen og Denise Adams, overtog Château L’Enclos. Præcis som Fonplégade er L’Enclos omlagt til økologisk dyrkning med certifikation fra 2017.</p>
<p>Med 100-point-winemakeren Michel Rolland som ønologisk konsulent er niveauet fra de op til 50 år gamle vinstokke på sit højeste nogensinde.</p>
