Pomerol-slottet blev opført i 1898 af familien Larroucaud, der forblev ejere i mere end et århundrede.</p> <p>Kvaliteten er for alvor løftet op i verdensklasse efter 2006, hvor ejerne af Fonplégade Saint-Émilion Grand Cru Classé, amerikanske Stephen og Denise Adams, overtog Château L’Enclos.
