Fra deres godt 13 hektar laver slottet noget af det bedste value for money i Lalande de Pomerol. Både Decanter og Bordeaux-guruen, Jane Anson, har begge set lyset i dette prægtige slot, der drives af Pascal Chatonnet. </span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 14px;">I den forrygende årgang 2020 var betingelserne så gode, at slottet inkluderede hele 25 % Cabernet Franc i vinen, hvilket er første gang nogensinde. The mouth is fruity and offers juiciness, gourmandize, a small creaminess, a good definition, a small tension, a certain suavity, complexity, controlled richness, pulpy raspberry, small notes of bright cassis associated with touches of lilac, violet, as well as hints of blueberry, tea, cardamom, tonka bean, fine hints of bourbon vanilla and a discreet hint of hazelnut (in the background). That Cabernet Franc imparts an attractive pencil lead tincture on the finish that gives it a Left Bank allure. This has kicked on nicely through its élevage and deserves a higher score than I gave from barrel.
