Det gamle slot på det dybe grus har været beboet af historiske kendisser som Michel de Montaignes bror samt Marquis’en af Ségur. Ret usædvanligt råder slottet over samme enkeltmark som i 1855. Med sine 52 ha én af Médocs største.
